this will be the BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER.
or at least better than last year, when i was sick.
or the year before, when i had my wallet stolen.
or the year before that, when i had a paper due and stayed up all night composing the most incoherent thing i've ever written, fueled by a near-lethal combination of tequila and black coffee.
